it plays well on the psp, i'd recommend god of war chains of olympus for it as well walmart has it for like ten bucks, i dont usually like such games but the psp is perfect for action type games and racers

My GF is buying me a PSP for xmas. Im lookin forward to dwnlding FF7 to play on it... although ive finished it many a time... I just want to play it on a hand held.. SWEET! :D

final fantasy all the way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you so much sony and sqaure enix for bringing final fantasy VII to playstation store:) i have it anyway but im happy to have a digital version. I have final fantasy 7,8,9,10,12, tactics and crisis core. cant wait for final fantasy XIII and VS XIII . and of course final fantasy XIV
